Another Cricut Card

This is one of the first cards I made using the “Make-The-Cut!” software I recently purchased for use with my Cricut. I had been browsing various web sites to find SVG files to use with the program when I came across this pet frame.

It is cut in two pieces, the all-black and all-white parts of the frame. The puppy print is cardstock I printed. I then printed a photo of my sister-in-law’s puppy to fit inside the frame. (She loves the card, by the way.)

One of the great features of this product is that you can cut your shape to ANY size of your choosing. Cutting from cartridges allows you just the specific sizes on the Cricut dial. This will allow for any size whatsoever.

Another cool thing is that you see on your computer screen exactly where the cut will take place. In the case of this 2-piece frame, I laid it out in such a way that I could put the black paper on one half of the mat and the white paper on the other. So the whole thing was done in one cut process, not two.

I can’t sing the praises of this software loudly enough. It’s a super tool and an invaluable addition for every Cricut user. Click the link on the right side-bar for more specific information. You’ll be glad you did.

Absolutely adore this card! The teeny bow at the bottom is just screams puppy and beauty parlor. Great creation, Donna.
