Stars & Stamps #102

Wow! Here it is a whole new year. And this is my first challenge entry in quite a while. I guess the holidays took a lot of time, leaving little for crafting.

This week’s sketch from OWH Stars and Stamps is this:

I liked this sketch right away, knowing it fits my style pretty well. So here is the card I made based on the sketch:

We are having a card-making party for OWH next week and this card will be among those sent afterwards.

Supplies used:

  • cream colored A2 card base by Recollections
  • purple and patterned cardstock from the Latte Stack from DCWV
  • cream colored silk flower from Ashland
  • purple paper rose from Prima Marketing

It’s a fairly simple card, but it’s gone along way towards getting me back into my card-making ways.

Happy New Year to all. And thanks for stopping by.

This turned out beautifully Donna! I love polkas dots and the flower is a perfect focal point with that small purple one echoing them. This would be a beautiful card for me to CASE for Mother’s Day. 🙂
