Wow! Here it is a whole new year. And this is my first challenge entry in quite a while. I guess the holidays took a lot of time, leaving little for crafting.
This week’s sketch from OWH Stars and Stamps is this:
I liked this sketch right away, knowing it fits my style pretty well. So here is the card I made based on the sketch:
We are having a card-making party for OWH next week and this card will be among those sent afterwards.
Supplies used:
- cream colored A2 card base by Recollections
- purple and patterned cardstock from the Latte Stack from DCWV
- cream colored silk flower from Ashland
- purple paper rose from Prima Marketing
It’s a fairly simple card, but it’s gone along way towards getting me back into my card-making ways.

This turned out beautifully Donna! I love polkas dots and the flower is a perfect focal point with that small purple one echoing them. This would be a beautiful card for me to CASE for Mother’s Day. 🙂
